Looking Forward to the Weekend
I am so excited about the many upcoming events that are taking place this weekend. From Pioneer Days at Sutter’s Fort (http://www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=485), the Pacific Rim Street Festival in Old Sac (http://www.pacificrimstreetfest.com), a River Cats game on Thursday night, and the appearance of Thomas the Tank Engine on the Sacramento River Train track (http://www.sacramentorivertrain.com/choose-a-trip-april-may.html), there is just too much good stuff to choose from!
The weather is supposed to heat up this weekend, reaching near triple digits, with oddly enough some cloud coverage. Whatever your plans may be for Saturday and Sunday, be sure to stay cool and take water. One idea to stay cool and have fun would be to spend a day at a local water park. We have two in the area, one of them being Raging Waters (http://www.rwsac.com/). I have not been to this water park in years, but the impending hot weather just might change that!
