Glow in the dark golf for all ages…
During a recent trip to Waikiki, Oahu, my family and I were delighted to find a glow in the dark, 3-D, indoor,18-hole, miniature golf course. We had never seen anything like it before, and gladly paid the $25 to play mini-golf, wear 3-D glasses, and sport glow in the dark bead necklaces. Surprisingly, we were the only golfers in the place. I suppose being inside playing golf is not what most tourists in Hawaii want to do on a Friday night. However, I can imagine that many residents in the Sacramento area would be impressed by this type of facility, and we now have our chance to see if this is true.
Monster Mini-Golf is located in the Rancho Cordova area, at the Nimbus Winery. Although the golf facility does not boast 3-D images, it does glow in the dark, and there is an arcade and a live DJ. This is definitely a place I will be checking out, specifically on a hot summer day, or one of those nights that the region does not get any Delta breeze relief. Pricing is interesting, and goes by height. Check out the Monster Mini-Golf website for more details and information: http://www.monsterminigolf.com/folsom%20info%20page.htm
