Another movie night announcement…

Published by hawkinsm at 4:47 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Tomorrow night there will be a free movie night at William Land Park- featuring the adorable and hilarious Bee Movie. I saw this movie on a recent Delta Airlines flight- but I think it would be much better viewed on land with popcorn and lemonade. Be sure to take a cooler and snacks, and a couple of blankets. For park information visit www.cityofsacramento.org.

Another event taking place on Friday is free electronics recycling. If you have old electronics sitting around the house and do not know how to dispose of them properly, or you do not want to pay a recycling fee- head out to Sim’s Recycling in Roseville. Free drop hours are from 3 to 7 PM, and take place every Friday afternoon. You will need to fill out a form, which can be found at www.Sims-Group.com. Recycling electronics is likely the last thing on any person’s mind, however I wish I had known about this program before I had to move. We had to pay recycling fees for many electronic items- items that were completely useless and consumed space for years. So, take advantage of this opportunity and just get it done and free up some space that could be better used. Free recycling will not happen on rainy days, so it is best to head out there while the weather is still more predictable.
