First 5 Celebration
The First 5 Celebration takes place at William Land Park and Fairytale Town this Saturday. There will be many lovable characters from children’s books and cartoons, such as Clifford the Big Red Dog. Also, you will find free activities for children, plus a variety of resource booths for parents. Though I will not be attending this event, I have attended First 5 in the past, and I have always found it to be very enjoyable. I tend to leave with a bag full of goodies, such as children’s toothbrushes, stickers, and other little prizes.
Fairytale Town will be offering free admission to children under age five, so take a camera and head to the theme park as well!
Festivities begin at 10 am and last until 4 pm. I suggest arriving early so that you can find a decent parking spot, close to the activities. Better yet, take RT and you won’t have to worry about parking.
